01 — The problem

A project-management firm earns its fee by finding value for clients — catching a hidden condition, negotiating a change order down, compressing a schedule — and then loses the record of it. It was tracked in a Word table, filled in from memory at the end of a project, if at all. The firm had a manual for how to spot and price that value, but no one opened it mid-project. So value went under-reported, priced differently by every PM, with nothing solid to show at renewal.

02 — What we built

Valor puts the firm's playbook to work as a guided interview a project manager can finish between meetings. It starts by asking about the project, then walks only the scenarios that apply. For each one it interviews the PM, does the arithmetic out loud, and produces a defensible dollar figure with the reasoning behind it. The AI runs the conversation and never touches the math: every number comes from a fixed formula with a built-in conservatism factor, so the same value is priced the same way by anyone. The finished log exports as a branded PDF, and the playbook itself — scenarios, questions, pricing — is editable in-app, so the methodology can evolve without a developer.

  • Starts with a few questions about the project, then walks only the value scenarios that apply.
  • Interviews the PM one scenario at a time and does the arithmetic out loud, with the reasoning shown.
  • Every figure comes from a fixed formula with a conservatism factor; the AI never does arithmetic.
  • Scenarios, questions, and pricing are all editable in-app, no developer required.
  • A half-finished log can be left and resumed, and exports as a branded PDF in the firm's own format.
03 — The result

All 13 of the firm's value scenarios are encoded and running. A PM finishes the log between meetings instead of rebuilding it from memory at project close, and any two PMs pricing the same value get the same number.
